Zubeen threatens to kill audience if they leave programme

Guwahati: Renowned singer Zubeen Garg on Monday threatened to shoot the audience if they leave his show in the middle. The incident occurred at a cultural event at Guwahati’s Khanapara College ground where Zubeen had come all the way from Mumbai to attend the show.

The programme ran late into the night and the audience was preparing to leave. On seeing this, Garg took out a pistol and threatened to shoot the audience. Police patrolling the area entered the stage to find that it was only a toy gun. No FIR has been launched. Zubeen apologized to the audience for his behaviour. His Personal Secretary said that Zubeen had kept the gun with himself due to the shooting of a cinema.
