Yechuri dismisses speculations of coalition with congress


Kolkata: CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury has dismissed all the speculations regarding the formation of a coalition to fight the Trinamool Congress saying the statement of CPI(M) leader Goutam Deb has been misinterpreted by the media and Goutam have not talked about any coalition. He said that CPI(M) won’t form any coalition and will not join hands with the Congress.

Earlier in a press conference Deb had said, “Previously we had formed a coalition with other parties. If required why there should be a problem now?”

He also added, “We want to come back to power. People want to remove Trinamool Congress.”

He said that it is necessary to remove Modi from the country and Mamata from the state. The also gave rise to controversies within the party which concluded with Yechuri’s statement.
