New Delhi: Xiaomi’s recently launched budget smartphone Redmi Note 4 is up for pre-orders starting March 31. The company for the first-time is going to hold a pre-order system on its official portal Mi.com. Until now Xiaomi phones were available only in flash sales.
“Over the past few years, we have been listening closely to your feedback, pushing ourselves to bring innovation to as many people as possible. Specifically, we want to make sure that you, our most loyal fans, can easily buy your favourite Mi products. Today we are proud to present a brand-new pre-order system on Mi.com,” reads the Xiaomi’s website.
Company claims that the smartphone will be delivered within five days once the online payment is done. There’s no cash on delivery service and only one smartphone can be ordered at a time. The pre-orders start from March 31 at 12 pm.
Xiaomi recently announced that Redmi Note 4 has already crossed 1 million sales in India through flash sales. The smartphone succeeds the Redmi Note 3, which is arguably one of the best phones launched by Xiaomi in India. Redmi Note 4 was launched in India during January this year. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) and 2.5D curved glass display. It comes in three size variants- 2GB RAM with 32 GB ROM, 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4 GB RAM with 64 ROM. Redmi Note 4 is powered by a 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The device supports dual-SIM and runs the latest MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow out-of-the box.
Xiaomi may soon also list the recently launched Redmi 4A, its news budget phone of the year for pre-orders. Redmi 4A also saw a big hit with its 250,000 units selling in just 4 minutes through Amazon and Mi.com.
