Wrong Map Of India Shown At OnePlus 5 Global Launch Event

New Delhi: Chinese smartphone manufacturer made a big goof up earlier this week, showing a distorted map of India.

At the global launch of its latest OnePlus 5 flagship smartphone, the company showed the map of India with PoK missing.

The blunder was made during a video presentation, in which OnePlus listed the cities where it’s holding pop-up events across the world to promote OnePlus 5.

The company had announced to webcast the event live, however, later a video recording of the event was played.

The wrong India map appears in the video (embedded below) towards the end (at 1 hour, 5 minutes and few seconds to be precise).

It’s worth mentioning that OnePlus is holding pop-up events at several cities across India to promote its OnePlus 5 flagship smartphone. The cities that will host the pop-up events include New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. Interested buyers can also purchase the device from the company’s ‘Experience Store’ from June 27 onwards.
