New Delhi: The Congress on Saturday declared that they won’t allow the Parliament to function until the ministers whose names have cropped up in Lalit Modi controversy or the Vyapam scam resigns from their post. The statement was issued by Congress leader Ashwini Kumar who stressed that it was the right of the opposition to oppose, expose and depose the government.
The Congress MP said that the onus of running the Parliament lies on the ruling party and not on the opposition.
He said, “It is the right and responsibility of the opposition to oppose, expose and depose the government.”
The first weeks of the monsoon session have been a complete waste with both the houses of the parliament with the house being adjourned at regular intervals and no successful business being transacted.
