Mumbai: Bollywood actress turned BJP MP from Mathura Hema Malini on Wednesday said her heart goes out to the two year old girl who was killed after Hema’s Mercedes had a frontal collision with another car in Rajasthan.
She, however, said in her Twitter account, that if the girl’s father had followed the traffic rules, then the accident could have been averted. Her driver, Mahesh Thakur, was arrested on charges of rash driving and causing death by negligence besides other offences. Thakur was granted bail later.
Malini’s apparently speeding sedan rammed into another car coming from the opposite direction, leaving a two-year-old child in that vehicle dead and four others injured, including the girl’s parents. The accident took place near Dausa, over 50 km from Jaipur.
