Siliguri: Opposition leader Surya Kant Mishra addressing a CPM rally at the Baghajatin Park Maidan on Sunday said that CPM victory march will start from Siliguri. Surya is quite positive in nailing the forthcoming assembly polls in the state and with motives of eradicating the trinamool from power, today said, “The River flows from north to south. We want the winning of CPM in the assembly elections should begin from north and move towards south and the states people will dethrone trinamool and throw them in the Bay of Bengal.”
After repeated failures to grab public votes in the state elections, CPM got full support of Siliguri at the municipal elections. It is very evident that after winning in two elections, Siliguri Municipality Mayor and Central committee Member, Ashok Bhattacharya is in lime light. CPM are now relying on Siliguri’s Ashok Mondal for getting victorious in the forthcoming elections.
At the rally Suryakant Mishra has appealed all CPM Groups to unite. He also said, to stop Trinamool, leftist minds should come together. The situation of the state today is nothing like a democracy. No food, employment, health and medical facilities. People at the tea garden are dying of hunger. But the government is not aware of anything.
Mishra also pointed out at the TET controversy and unemployment ratio. He spoke regarding the teacher undertaking program, that Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee hasn’t been able to provide any jobs.
Despite the victory hope, the campaign failed to gather much crowd.
