Islampur: North Dianjpur place Islampur is agitated over the BJP’s 12-hour bandh regarding the death of two students of Darivit school.
Many public buses set in fire on National Highway. Suvendu Adhikary challenged BJP, delivering his speech that “TMC will lead by 30000 votes from Islampur.”
Explaining his speech he said that, “We have evacuated Jangalmahal. Nandigram. Murshidabad before. Now its time for Islampu. We will bring peace here.” Suvendu Adhikary said that he will visit Islampur in a short interval.
The State Transportation minister said that, “Islampur is a mini India where people live in peace. BJP can not tolerate that.” He clearly stated that people will not accept communal politics. Defending the allegation against Police he said that silencer were on in the police gun.
He also demanded full investigation on the death of two students. The involved people must be punished. But politicising death gives identity of cheap politics.
The CM has told that no strike will take place in West Bengal on September 26. The strike has gained effect in parts of Bengal but most of the places are running normally.
She said from Italy that, “West Bengal people have rejected the strike, I thank people for making the strike a complete failure. She tagged the the entire thing as a conspiracy to drag back the development in West Bengal.”
