WBPCC To Write ‘No Desire’ Letter To Rahul Gandhi On Coalition


Kolkata: West Bengal Congress is continuing the fight with Trinamool to keep their words to contest alone in Lok Sabha election. After informing the status to the national leadership, Bidhan Bhavan leaders will write a ‘no desire’ letter stating their comments of not tie any knot for contesting Lok Sabha election.

As per the source of Pradesh Congress, the West Bengal Pradesh Congress President Somen Mitra will hold a meeting with the MPs and MLAs. The letter will be written with everyone’s concern and will be authorized by every State leaders. A ‘no desire’ letter for coalition in Bengal ahead of Lok Sabha election.

Earlier on Friday, Congress president Rahul Gandhi extended his support to Banerjee for her ‘United India Rally’ here on Saturday. Gandhi is likely to skip Mamata’s rally and the Congress has deputed its leader in the Lok Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, to represent the Grand Old Party at the event.

Replying on that, State Congress president Somen Mitra said, “Our party president Rahul Gandhi has extended support to the anti-BJP platform. Our fight against the BJP and TMC in Bengal would continue. The party high command has not asked us to stop it.”
