Islampur: West Bengal Bharatiya Jananta Party Yuva Morcha presidentn Debjit Sarkar has been arrested from Islampur of North Dinajpur on Wednesday.
Reportedly, he has been arrested for provocative comment in a protest rally at College more. But Debjit Sarkar claimed that he did not make such comment.
BJP has called for strike protesting the death of two students in Darivit High school. But several incidents are taking place from Wednesday morning in Islampur.
Prioring to the recruitment of Urdu teacher, students held protest on September 20.
The controversy sparked after firing claimed two students life. Police has been
alleged for firing the. They announced 12 hour band as a protest on this.
State Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha president Debjit Sarkar went to Islampur
on Wednesday. Allegedly, he made provocative commen there. So he has been arrested.
Debjit Sarkar has denied such allegation. He said that, “I did not make provocative
comment. They are threatened. So police has detained me.”
