New York: Warner Bros. along with DC Entertainment are launching “DC Super Hero Girls” in fall 2015. It is going to be a new initiative that will create a new superhero universe designed specifically for girls.
The launch will follow female superheroes and super villains of the DC Comics. Wonder woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Bumble Bee, Poison Ivy and Katana are just a few of the characters set to appear as teenagers and star in the new line of products, geared at girls aged 6-12.
The two will collaborate on the initiative with Mattel, Random House Children’s Books and LEGO.
Mattel will create a toy line, Random House Books will be the publishing partner and LEGO will produce building sets based in the “DC Super Hero Girls” world.
