New Delhi: 80 war widows have reportedly supported the hunger strike of former Army personnel in demand of One Rank one Pension. The widows will be reportedly be joining the protests at Jantar Mantar for Monday.

Last week the retired army personnel had said that they go for an indefinite hunger strike from 24 August. The protests have reportedly reached 63 days with the former Army men going on a relay hunger strike.

Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the ex-army men regarding the OROP, no timeframe was declared for its implementation which has raised the wave of dissent among the Army personnel.

Meanwhile AAP MLA Devinder Sherawat has written to President Pranab Mukherjee seeking his intervention into the matter.
