Visits of Indian warships in Qatar

New Delhi: Indian Naval ships Deepak, Delhi, Tabar and Trishul are on a month long deployment to enhance the bilateral ties and engage in naval exercise with friendly regional navies. INS Delhi and INS Trishul entered the Doha, Quarter today and shall remain still 17 September 2015. In this session the warships will have professional’s interactions for enhancing co-operations, sharing the nuances of naval co-operations including disaster management, terrorism and piracy.

Bilateral relationship between India and Qatar has traditionally focused on economic and people tp people linkage. The setting up of the India-Qatar joint Defence co-operation committee has enhanced the co-operations’ in the field of training. The current visit seeks to underscore India’s peaceful presence and solidarity with the friendly countries in the area of gulf.
