Kolkata, Subhapam Saha: Ahead of the KKR clash at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, the Blue eyed Boy of Indian cricket, who also happens to be the captain of RCB in IPL 8 was seen in a fresh mood at a five star hotel in Kolkata. At the press conference, Virat said that his team is absolutely pumped up and raring to go. It is a new and fresh side, hence the team is ready to give it’s 100 per cent in all respects.
On being asked about playing an away game, Virat said that in IPL, home and away matches do not really matter. Everyone will have to play 8 away matches. So, it is about staying focused. The inclusion of skippers in the team like AB De Villiers will add to the team’s strength, feels Virat. Previously RCB has featured in a final of the IPL. So they know how to handle pressure situations, says Virat. However, Kohli looked confident about featuring well in the IPL and also believes that RCB has the talent and potential to go a long way in the tournament.
