Veteran Actress Charu Rohatgi Passes Away


Mumbai: The veteran television actress Charu Rohatgi passed away on Monday morning.
The talented thespian has been a part of the television industry for many years.

According to the sources she is remembered for her stint in TV shows namely Pratigya, Uttaran, Trideviyaan and also played Parineeti Chopra’s mother in Ishaqzaade. According to our sources, it is a natural death. Charu suffered from cardiac arrest on Monday morning.

Starting her journey with popular films like No One Killed Jessica and Ishqzaade, Charu Rohatgi has now ventured into exploring varied characters in the world of Television. She is currently seen in SAB TV’s latest presentation, Trideviyan.

Reportedly, Charu started her journey on TV with Ladies Special and have been a part of established shows such as ‘Ek Thi Naayka’ apart from movie projects like ‘Ishqzaade’.

She started her journey from acting in Kolkata with doing films like Patiala House, No One Killed Jessica, Kuch Luv Jaisaa, Ishaqzaade and Second Marriage Dot Com. She had an equal interest in television also and hence tried to explore TV after doing films.
