Vajpayee Death Condolences: Politicians & Personalities Express Their Grief

New Delhi: Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former prime minister and BJP stalwart, passed away on Thursday. He was 93. Vajpayee was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in June. Vajpayee, who had been ailing for long, retreated from active public life over the last decade following the deterioration of his health and remained restricted to his residence.
With his demise, the famous personalities and politicans have expressed their grief through Twitter.

Omar Abdullah has also sent his condolences to the entire family of Atal Bihai Vajpayee. He wrote, “Words mean so little at a time like this but words are all we have to convey the deepest condolences to Gunu, to Neha, to Ranjan & the entire family. May God give you strength to bear this tremendous loss. #AtalBihariVajpayee

Congress President, Rahul Gandhi, has expressed his grief on Twitter. He wrote, “Today India lost a great son. Former PM, Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, was loved and respected by millions. My condolences to his family & all his admirers. We will miss him. #AtalBihariVajpayee.” Check out the tweet:
