V S Achuthanandan walks out of Party meet


Thiruvananthapuram: Former kerela Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan on Saturday left a party conference after being questioned regarding party discipline.

The CPI (M) leader headed for his home and did not speak to anyone. According to sources, he was deeply hurt over the turn of events in which a 50 page report was tabled against him for constantly breaching the party discipline.

State Party Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan attacked Achuthanandan known to be his strong rival within the party and the former CM also hit back at him.

The tussle between the two leaders have been a long standing problem for the party in the state.
