Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat has been admitted to hospital after he complained of neck pain early this morning.
Ahead of the upcoming Assembly Elections, Rawat wants an alliance with the Progressive Democratic Front and has been fighting with his aide-turned-rival Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Kishore Upadhyaya on every possible aspect for the same. As per recent update, Harish Rawat was quoted saying by ANI that he is fit and just has a bit of cervical problems. “I am fit, just have a bit of cervical problems. Totally healthy for the upcoming elections”, ANI mentioned in its tweet.
With the 70 tickets, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister has repeatedly said the Congress would contest 63 and leave the rest to the front. Indian Express quoted Upadhyaya saying that the Congress will contest all 70 seats on its symbol. There is no second opinion to it. The cold war between the Rawat and the PCC has been going on for almost two years now and is still continuing.
In December last year, Rawat laid the foundation stone for the new outpatient duty (OPD) block of Doon Medical College Hospital. This move which has invited criticism as the building is already under construction for the past two-and-a-half year.
