US Woman Chooses ‘Death’ Over Trump Or Hillary Clinton

Washington: Take me, home, Jesus! Lord knows it’s way too crazy down here!

That’s essentially what a “feisty” Richmond, Virginia, woman communicated in her official obituary printed in Tuesday’s Richmond Times-Dispatch.

“Faced with the prospect of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Mary Anne Noland of Richmond chose, instead, to pass into the eternal love of God on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 68,” the death notice begins.

“Mary Anne devoted her life to sharing the love she received from Christ with all whose lives she touched as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and nurse,” the obituary continued, urging that in lieu of flowers, mourners donate to CARITAS, a Richmond-area homeless charity.

“A family member says Noland’s obituary was a joke and not meant as a political statement,” NBC’s local affiliate reported, promising readers a followup story by the TV station. “He said she was ‘feisty’ to the end as she battled cancer.”
