US Media Confused Over Mamata’s Come Back

Kolkata:  Reknowned US media ‘The Voice of America’ was expressed considerable doubt on Monday over Mamata Banerjee’s come back in West Bengal’s power. The result of West Bengal assembly election may be changed, as per this media repot.

‘Voice of America’ on Monday clearly expressed this view. According to their report, few days ago Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress was sure for their win in Bengal assembly poll. But after Narada sting and recent Vivekananda flyover mishap, their dream shattered to some extent. So, according to VOA’s prediction, the result does not seem a cakewalk for the ruling party. The American media stresses that administrative circles, political persons of the state are also discussing those features.

Voice of America also has got some anti-incumbent indications from the Election Commission of India’s strict recommendation of the central forces deployment at per ‘every polling booth’. There are two to three layered securities to ensure voters to cast their vote peacefully, getting out of their locality, getting out of their homes and reach the polling booth without any threat or intimidation. They stated that, State Election Commission had failed to ensure the proper deployment of Central forces at every polling booth in 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

The US media reflected that, this decision of the Election Commission of India (EC) to deploy central forces for carrying out free, fair and peaceful polls without booth capturing and rigging will pay dearly for the ruling party. The voters are casting their votes peacefully despite some freak incidents. Is this an indication of change? But all suspense will over after 19th May.

‘Voice of America’s news already creates uproar in West Bengal’s political and elite circles. They argued that in past the US media had forecast many poll results of this country. So, many of them think that the US media surely have got the news from ‘horse’s mouth’ about the WB’s assembly election results.
