ULB Polls: 12 Votes Polled At Lone Ward Of Central Kashmir’s Budgam


Srinagar: Only twelve votes have been cast in the lone ward of the central Kashmir’s Budgam district since the polling began at 7:00 in the morning.

According to reports, voting is going on in Budgam municipal committee’s ward 5- Bazar Mohalla, where Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party candidates are in fray.

Meanwhile, 12 votes have been cast till 9:00 am, reports said.

However, polling is being held only in one ward, while 26 wards find no candidates and in 45 wards candidates have won elections unopposed, reports added.
