Two temporary party offices of TMC ransacked


 Raigunj: The temporary party offices of two wards were ransacked by miscreants. The incident occurred in North Dinajpur’s district’s Kaliagunj’s ward no 1 and 2. The party office of Ward no. 1 candidate Ajanta Chakraborty and Ward no. 2 Birendranath Das has been destroyed. The clothes, pandals, flags and festoons have been torn and thrown into a pond.

Tension ran high in the area after the incident came to the forefront. Both the candidates, including the party leadership rushed to the spot. The TMC has alleged an opposition hand behind the incident. A written complaint has been filed in Kaliagunj Police station. No one has been identified as accused behind the incident.

Trinamool President Jayanta Saha said that the opposition has become afraid on seeing the overwhelming support of the TMC among the common people. So the miscreants of the opposition parties have went on the rampage.
