Two Russian planes Hijacked, being flown to Moscow


Moscow: Two Russian planes have been hijacked on Sunday according to the reports of Russian Media. Sources said that the planes were small private jets.

According to reports, a private plane has taken off without permission from Ishim, a town in southern Russia’s Tyumen region, and is heading in the direction of Moscow. It has been known that unknown people has made the unauthorized take-off on Sunday morning.

Russia’s Investigating Department in a statement said that at the beginning, those people took a private jet, a Gardan GY-80-160 light aircraft, which collided with engineering facilities in the airfield due to technical failure. Later, they changed to another private plane, a Yak-52, and are currently heading in the direction of Moscow.

The investigation department has started an investigation into the incident and are trying to locate the plane.
