Amritsar: Two Pakistani intruders were shot dead by the Border Security Force on Sunday when they were trying to smuggle heroin into India across the border. The heroin was worth nearly 60 crore.
A senior BSF official said that not only drugs, but also an AK 47 rifle was recovered from the intruders. BSF DIG RPS Agarwal said that despite repeated warnings from the security personnel, the duo continued to approach the Indian territory while firing at the troops. The Indian troops fired back killing the duo in an exchange of fire.
After conducting a search, BSF recovered the drug and the weapons from near the bodies of the intruders who are yet to be identified.
