Twin Blasts Jolt Kabul


Kabul: Two explosions were heard in central Kabul early on Monday evening, police said, wounding a taxi driver according to a Reuters witness. One of the detonations struck close to a popular bowling alley, a western security source said, while the other was near a shopping mall.  No further details were immediately available.

Earlier on Sunday a Fidayeen attack claimed the lives of 25 people in Afghanistan. A recent surge in suicide attacks have claimed thousands of lives so far in the terror torn country.
