Tripura CM Biplab Deb’s Rally Denied Permission By Administration


Kolkata: Tripura Chief Minister, Biplab Deb’s election rally, in Bishnupur denied permission by administration. This was reported by Bishnupur BJP district organizer.

It has been said that on Friday, the Chief Minister of Tripura was scheduled to be present at the local Cold Storage ground in support of Bishnupur Lok Sabha constituency candidate Soumitra Khan.

At first administration give permission for the meeting but later they denied, BJP sources said. The BJP’s Bishnupur Organizing District President Swapan Ghosh blamed political motivation behind this. He said the ruling party is afraid of the BJP. For this reason, repeatedly the ‘heavyweight’ leaders of the party are not allowed to hold the meeting. He said that he will bring the issue to the highest leadership of the party, simultaneously bringing the matter to the notice of the Election Commission.

On the other hand, BJP candidate from Bankura Lok Sabha constituency Dr. Subhash Sarkar said Tripura Chief Minister Biplob Dev will be present in the election rally in Simlapal lal Maidan on Friday.
