Tribal Community Withdraws Rail Blockade


Howrah: Majhimarowa community has withdrawn their blockade on Monday midnight at around 2 PM. But the situation has not been improved till now. Many trains are still standing at stations. The train service has not been resumed fully.

A railway board examination was there in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. Examinees stuck on their way to Bhubaneswar. But RRB has assured re-examination for those candidates. Railway Recruitment Board will announce the date after October 16.

Passengers are still waiting that train service will back in normalcy. Railway authority assured to start the train service as early as possible. But many trains have been cancelled from Monday. As many trains did not reach the destinations so the trains from Howrah could not leave. Passengers was agitated and staged protest questioning the reluctant role of Railway authority.

The blockade has disrupted train service so passengers stagged at many stations following this.
