Transport Minister Inaugurated New Bus-Stand In Bishnupur


Bankura: Despite the Supreme Court guidelines, there is no separate living room for Brest feeding mothers in the bus stand. The first state government in India created this facility bus stand in Bishnupur.

He said, during 2016 visit, Minister Mamata Banerjee asked to build this type of bus terminus. This bus stand has provided separate rooms for mothers. Even ticking booking counter, a ‘rest house’ are also created.

According to the administration sources, there are three terminus where 34 buses can be parked. At the same time, the three rest houses have been created. There are also four high-rise pillars and a water tank with 20,000 liters of watering capacity made.

Besides, Transport Minister Shuvendu Adhikari, State Minister for Public Health and Panchayat Office Shyamal Santra, District Administrator Dr Uma Shankar S, Bishanupur BDO Manas Mandal, Bishnupur municipal chairman Shyama Prasad Mukhopadhyay and others were also present.
