Kolkata: Train services on Sealdah main section have been completely disrupted since evening on Wednesday after the overhead wires snapped near Titagarh station. The High Voltage wires of CESC snapped at Titagarh station.
The services came to a halt at 5.30 PM as the overhead wires broke after a high tension cable running above it snapped and fell on it. Several trains, including Express trains from were held up mid-way.
Many commuters faced trouble as the situation happened. railways said that work to repair the wires took more than one hours.
