Tragic Mishap Kills 2 In Nadia

Krishnanagar: Two people were killed and six others were injured when an ambulance lost control and rammed into a parked lorry on National Highway-34 in West Bengal’s Nadia district on Monday.

The ambulance was on its way to Kolkata carrying a patient from Murshidabad when the accident occurred, said police. The collision was so fierce that two people died on the spot. The injured have been rushed to the Jawaharlal Nehru memorial Hospital in Kalyani.
