Toyota Launches Innova Crysta Petrol Model

New Delhi: Toyota on Tuesday launched the petrol version of its multi-purpose vehicle Innova Crysta in India priced between Rs13.72 lakhs and Rs. 19.63 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Toyota couldn’t sell the Innova Crysta diesel in Delhi-NCR due to ban imposed by Supreme Court on diesel vehicles with engines of 2,000cc and above. However, with the launch of petrol crysta, it can cater to those regions as well.

The all-new Innova Crysta Petrol is equipped with a new 2.7 L Dual VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence) petrol engine. Crysta Petrol is available in both Automatic & Manual transmission and delivers a power output of 166 PS and a torque of 245 Nm

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Akito Tachibana, Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “The Innova is an iconic brand and has long established itself as the number 1 MPV in the Indian market. This can be further reiterated with the overwhelming success of the new Innova Crysta which was launched earlier this year. Often referred to as the segment creator, the brand Innova has proved itself again by being the first in the segment to offer a vehicle with a petrol variant. At Toyota, we are constantly striving to make our products even better catering to the varied and changing needs of our customers. We are confident that the new petrol variant of the Innova Crysta further reiterates Toyota’s commitment to the Indian market and will add to customer delight,” continued Mr. Tachibana.

 The LIVO is now available in 6 colors – Imperial Red Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sunset Brown Metallic & Black; and is available for sale in two variants Self-Drum-Alloy and Self-Disc-Alloy.
