Some stars rock the theatres while some fail to impress, but unlucky are those who don’t get the chance to share their performance on screen. Here’s a list of some Bollywood movies which never got showcased in tinsel town. Well there can be many reasons. Let’s take a look:
Mumbai Central- After the death of first assistant director Nadia khan, Kaizad Gustad’s Film got derailed. Gustad was arrested for covering up the death. The coincidental part was that Nadia got killed in a train accident close to the shooting unit, while the film was about a popular railway station.
London– Creative indifferences among producer and Sunny Deol lead to halt of a film about an Indian immigrant experience in London. Deol seized the directorial rights, renamed it Dillagi and released it.
The Time Machine– Bad luck to Indian audiences when Shekar kapur left his half completed sci-fi project with back to future inspired idea and went to Hollywood. The film had a starcast of Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon and Naseeruddin Shah.
Yaar meri Zindagi– The longest delayed film of all time-35 years. This movie was made when Amitabh wasn’t an angry young man. Also starring Shatrughan Sinha, seems like the movie has followed his “Khamosh” order.
Khabardaar– This euthanasia- themed film had Bachchan as the Doctor and kamal hasan as the terminally ill person. Quite like the movie Anand, Producers feared the controversy of leaglising Euthanasia.
