To Revive Party, Kanhaiya Kumar Visits Kolkata

Kolkata: Former student leader from JNU Kanhaiya Kumar presents at the CPI’s 94th Foundation day programme at Dharmatala on December 26. This is an effort to revive the party. Patidar movement leader Jignesh Mewani appeared alongside Kanhaiya.

Due to the defeat of the Left Front, the CPI is losing their importance, like the other left party in the state. In the rest of the country, the situation of the party organization is not so much good. Kanhaiya Kumari has become the key person of attraction of this party.

In the party’s state meeting, along with the BJP, the TMC can also be opposed. Despite receiving invitation from TMC’ brigade meeting, the CPI’s state leadership has rejected it. The party has also decided to restart the daily which was closed down due to financial problems. It might come as a weekly in the format of a tabloid.

After the Left lost its stand in the state, the CPI has also lost its relevance in the state. Its condition is also not good in the other states. So, it seems Kanhaiya Kumar can be the only one who can revive the party.
