Chennai: In a set of fresh trouble for newly elected Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palaniswami, another AIADMK MLA M Natarajan joins Panneerselvam’s camp. Mylapore MLA M Natarajan will vote against Palaniswami in the Floor test on Saturday.
He doesn’t fear losing his MLA post, but will not vote for Palaniswami.
Palaniswami has already headed to the Golden Bay resort in Kurvathur to meet the MLAs ahead of the special Tamil Nadu Assembly session. He needs to prove confidence votes as asked by the Governor. The AIADMK MLAs are presently camping in two resorts.
He had thus postponed his visit to Bengaluru to meet Sasikala in jail.
In the recent turn of events, it was observed that few MLAs have shifted allegiance to Panneerselvam’s camp owing to induction of Sasikala’s kin into the party.
