Kolkata: The newly formed West Bengal Government, with Trinamool Congress in its second term will take up the agendas on better administrative purposes from where it left in January 2016.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the first administrative meeting of the new Government will be held on June 3, 2016 at Town Hall.
Since 2011, the West Bengal Chief Minister had chaired 105 administrative meetings in all the 20 districts of the State, resulting in implementation of the developmental works in a much quicker pace.
The vision of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had been to travel to the districts with the top officials and carry out developmental works in to the furthest corners. Nabanna should go to the districts, the district people should not visit Nabanna, was her idea, which resulted a huge success.
Keeping upto the tradition, the West Bengal CM will start off her district visit after holding the first administrative meeting at Kolkata and then again start her visits.
