Kolkata: Addressing media personnel in Kolkata Left Front chairman Biman Bose on Thursday accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of ‘unleashing terror’ on the people who have voted against it.
The veteran leader who saw the Left Front’s utter humiliation in this years Assembly polls have also blamed the ruling party of orchestrating attacks on the Left leaders across the state.
Mr. Bose said that his party will continue to raise voice and will held protest march against the atrocities committed on its workers. Interestingly, Mr. Bose said that instead of a all state protest, party workers will held separate protest rallies in the districts.
Post sweep violence has continued to jolt the state with frequent clashes happening between TMC and CPM cadres.
On Tuesday, CPM leader Rajiv Biswas’s who lost the polls to Paresh Paul from Beliaghata has been attacked by alleged TMC activists. While earlier the day, CPM office in Kolkata’s Kasba area has allegedly been set on fire by the ruling party goons.
Violence has also been reported from Bardhaman district’s Khejuri where several CPM workers were allegedly beaten.
