Kolkata: After the notice issued by the CBI to Subrata Bakshi, the Trinamool Congress on Thursday has sent a four membered representative team to the CBI office. The team is headed by the MLA of Baranagar, Tapash Roy. The four membered team has paid a visit to the CBI officers on Thursday in resepest to the notice which was served to them.
It was learnt that the CBI has sent the notice through a post on Monday morning. In the notice, the officers have enquired and have asked the TMC all India General secretary Subrata Bakshi to submit a detailed report of the financial statement clearly mentioning all details about the transcactions of the Trinamool Congress between 2010 and 2014.
The CBI officers have even showed their interest in the statements in connection to the selling of Mamata Banerjee’s paintings to the various buyers. The officers have also enquired about the advertisers who had given advertisements in ‘Jago Bangla’.
