TMC To Provide Camphor Water To Parents During ‘Madhyamik Exam’


Kolkata: March is the season of board examinations. Not just students, the parents of those appearing for these examinations also undergo a lot of pressure. It is specially excruciating for the parents who wait for two hours outside exam centres, in this scorching heat.

As per sources to ‘cool’ off the tension of the parents at exam centres, the party has decided to offer them cooling drinks and water. Water mixed with camphor and ice will be offered to the parents.

The party will also construct temporary shades outside the centres for the parents to sit and relax while their children write their papers inside.

The service will continue for the next 21 days, when Madhyamik exam will be on. This apart, several auto-rickshaw operator unions, belonging to the party, have decided to run free autos to ferry examinees to and from the Madhyamik exam centres.
