TMC MLA Sparks Controversy By Calling Modi ‘Animal’

Barrackpore: Trinamool Congress Party MLA Arjun Singh from Bhatpara constituency
has sparked controversy after making derogatory statements on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While addressing a government programme at Halisahar Municipal’s Lok Sanskriti Bhawan, Singh said, “The animal Prime Minister by the name of Modi, has put India as a mortgage in abroad.”

Arjun Singh has been harshly criticised for uttering the word ‘animal’ against the PM.

Singh, however kept on attacking the saffron party and the PM without anymore
derogatory statements.

Aiming at Narendra Modi, Singh said, “Being a businessman, he understands business
best. See the condition of the government-owned weapon factories. Look where have
they taken the Railways to. Modi will surely depart.”

TMC leader Dola Sen was also present at the meeting who also criticised the ruling
party at the Centre. She opined that the Indians are keeping their faith in West
Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Arjun Singh also said the same thing. He said, “The Indians are ready to accept the
leadership of Mamata Banerjee. We will see her as the next Prime Minister. BJP will
be finished in 2019.”
