Birbhum: TMC leader and Suri legislator Swapan Kanti Ghosh threatened to move the court if no action was taken against the Chairman and Councillors of Suri Municipality.

Ghosh himself a TMC legislator brought corruption charges against fellow TMC chairman and councillor of Suri Municipality. Ghosh had earlier moved to TMC supremo ,Mamata Bannerjee. Ghosh said that he will send a mail to Central Urban Development Minister Venkaiya Naidu on Monday, as the CM is too reluctant to look at the matter.

Ghosh while attending an INTUC conference on Sunday told the media that he will continuously protest the ongoing corruption even if the party threw him out.

The district head of INTUC Mrinal Basu said the organization is a neutral labor union and invited Mr.Ghosh because he is a sympathizer of labor welfare and had earlier worked in this direction.

Ghosh had earlier given a deadline of February 15 to investigate the matter. He said as no action was taken against his corruption charges, he is preparing to knock on the court.
