TMC Leader Killed In Jhargram, Party Blames BJP


Jhargram: Mystery shrouds the death of a TMC leader whose body was found in paddy field with several injuries on body on Wednesday. Police suspect that he might have been murdered with sharp weapons.

According to sources, TMC leader was going to his brother Prasun Shrangir’s home in Jhargram by motorbike on Monday night. At that time, some miscreants killed him.

Meanwhile, Prasun started searching for his brother when he did not come to the home. Later, on Tuesday morning, the leader’s body was recovered from Dharkhuli on the road to Tengia in Jhargram.

In fact, Mr Prasun claims that his brother was killed. He alleged that his brother was murdered for political reasons. His brother was an active worker of Trinamool. The deceased brother Prasun Sarangi is a member of Jhargram Trinamool Core Committee. The Jhargram Police Station has already started investigating the entire incident.

Earlier, A grassroots activist was shot dead on Saturday in Islampur of North Dinajpur. On the other hand, two BJP workers died in bullet injury in Purulia.
