Kolkata: Trinamool Congress has changed its stand on the FTTI issue after supporting the students in the protest of the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as the Chairman of the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).

Trinamool MPs Abisheak Banerjee, Satabdi Roy and Derek ‘O’ Brien were scheduled to visit the Institute on Monday but all of a sudden there was a change in the plan and the trip was cancelled.

The cancellation of the visit has started to raise questions in the political circles. According to some political analysts TMC have been quite over the over the Vyapam issue and various other issues. Even the TMC is against the Student Agitations in the state although TMC has so far not issued any statement on the matter.
