TMC Announces Programme Of Protest Against BJP Across Bengal


Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress General Secretary Partha Chatterjee held a press conference on Friday to announce a state-wide programme of protest by Trinamool Congress against the BJP on Saturday, that is, October 7.

It will be against the politics of negativity being carried on by the BJP, including causing riots and indulging in destructive activities.

The protests will be staged across all the districts and in Kolkata as well, from 1 pm to 2 pm. In Kolkata, they will be staged at Dharmatala, Hazra More, Shyambazar More, Gariahat More, Garia More, Tollygunge Phanri, bus stand for route no. 14 in Behala, Sakher Bazar, Taratala More and 8B Bus Stand in Jadavpur.

He also said that the protests will be held in an orderly manner to cause minimum inconvenience to the people. The Trinamool Congress believes in conducting its activities in a democratic manner.

Partha Chatterjee appealed to everyone to join this protest against those who have insulted Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee.
