Mandi: Three members of a family were buried alive after a boulder fell on their house in a village of Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district following flash floods in the area.
The rescue workers are trying hard to retrieve the bodies of the three people which included an aged couple. The local bus stand was also damaged in the floods where heavy rains have lashed since Friday.
According to reports, many vehicles and houses were washed away in the flash floods in Dharampur, about 250 km from state capital Shimla. It also caused a heavy loss of livestock.
The district administration and the local people were trying to rescue stranded people in the wake of the flash flood and landslides.
