Theft at Murshidabad HS School

Murshidabad: An incident of theft took place at the Gunanandabati HKM Higher Secondary school at the Bharatpur Block at Murshidabad. The incident came to light on Monday morning after the school reopened after the weekend holidays. The theft was first observed by the teachers of the school.

It is reported that around 10 thousand rupees cash has been stolen from the school. Three almirahs have been unlocked before taking the money. Apart from the money, some other documents have also been taken away by the thieves.

An FIR has been lodged at the Bharatpur police station by the school authorities. Although no one has been arrested yet, the police is carrying out a thorough investigation procedure.
