Islamabad: Four suspected militants were killed in an U.S. drone strike in northwest Pakistan on Monday. According to reports, two missiles hit a compound in the Shahi Khel area of Shahwal valley in North Waziristhan near Afghan border.
The Drone strikes have often been opposed by Pakistan on grounds that it plays an infringement role in its sovereignty.
The attacks came after a month of the Peshawar school massacre where 134 children were brutally murdered by the Taliban in a fidayeen attack.
The were put to a six month halt in last year with the Pakistan Government negotiating peace talks with the terror outfit. The strikes again resumed in June last year and 25 attacks have killed about 186 people in last year only.
