Jammu: Two jawans were injured after terrorists attacked a CRPF camp at Tral in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday, news agency reported. The terrorists reportedly hurled a grenade into the CRPF camp, resulting in an explosion which injured two police personnel.
The area is being cordoned and a counter-operation is underway. “Two CRPF jawans sustained minor injuries in the grenade fired from an UBGL (under barrel grenade launcher). The area has been cordoned off and searches mounted to trace the terrorists,” a police official said.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars along the LoC in Poonch’s Krishna Ghati sector earlier in the evening.
