Terrorists Fire At Army, CRPF Camp In Pulwama


Srinagar: Terrorists fired from an Underbarrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) towards
joint army and CRPF camp located in Pulwama district’s Tahab, on Wednesday.

Security personnel retaliated. No loss of life or injury was reported.

On Tuesday, two terrorists were killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces at Guloora area of Handwara, Kupwara district Jammu and Kashmir.

In the morning, firing near Jahar Kotli Police station close to Srinagar-Jammu
National Highway. One CRPF personal injured. Alert sounded on NH1. Forces rushing
to the spot.

On morning on 12 Sep 18, at Naka near PS Jhajjar Kotli on national highway, a CRPF
person tried to stop a truck bearing No JK 03 F 1476 travelling from Jammu towards

However, the truck didn’t stop. Someone reportedly fired one round from within the
truck towards the CRPF pers and truck went ahead. Reports of CRPF pers being
injured may be incorrect.

The truck was intercepted at a further naka before Tibri. One AK-47, one gren and
pouch was found in the truck. Truck driver claims three persons were in the truck
and fled after the firing, however, nobody else claims to have seen them.
