Terrorists Attack Govt Building In Kashmir, 1 Soldier Injured


Srinagar: Terrorists stormed a government (UDI) building and attacked a police party in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pampore district on Monday morning. According to reports, one soldier has been injured in the attack.

Two to three terrorists are reportedly holed up inside the Entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI) Building in Sempora area of Pampore, situated on the outskirts of Srinagar.

Gunshots were heard from within the premises. Search operations are currently underway and the area has been cordoned off.

In February, terrorists had entered the EDI campus after ambushing a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy and killing three people, which included two jawans and a civilian.
