Terrorist Lobbed Grenade Attack In J&K’s Tral, 3 Dead


Update: 3 civilians have lost their lives, total of 10 civilians & 7 CRPF personnel injured.

Srinagar: Terrorists lobbed a powerful grenade at a crowd standing at a bus stand in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tral after Jammu & Kashmir Minister Naeem Akhtar had reached there to inaugurate a project on Thursday.

The grenade attack was followed by firing, reports state. Two people have died and 20 others, including civilians and policemen, have been injured in the attack. The injured have been rushed to hospital.

In a similar incident, the Pakistan Army on Thursday resorted to unprovoked firing with small arms and mortars around midnight in Arnia area of Jammu and Kashmir’s R S Pura sector and the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramgarh sector at 3:50 in the morning.
